Aerospace Tapes --- Scotchmate SJ 3518-SJ 3519 Hook and Loop Fastening Systems
These Scotchmate hook and loop fasteners consist of two woven strips, one of which is covered with tiny stiff hooks, and the other with pliable loops.
Pressed together they fasten, to open simply pull apart.
Scotchmate fasteners SJ 3518 loop and SJ 3519 hook are precoated with a pressure sensitive adhesive which can meet the requirements of F.A.R. 25.853, paragraph (a); this is a 60 second burn test.
This pressure sensitive adhesive provides secure, efficient attachment to a variety of different substrates.
