Comfort that Protects
When it comes to choosing the right protective apparel for the job, industrial hygienists surveyed agreed: COMFORT DRIVES COMPLIANCE.

If workers are hot and uncomfortable, they are more likely to modify their protective apparel in order to gain comfort, which can compromise their protection and safety.
Or they may choose a garment that offers a less-than-acceptable level of protection, simply because it's more comfortable.

  Why choose Kimberly-Clark Protective Apparel?

Kimberly-Clark Protective Apparel is designed to protect people!

Some competitive brands of fabric used to make protective apparel are actually modified versions of material also used in packaging and house wrap.
It's not surprising that workers find apparel made of such fabric hot and uncomfortable.

Through extensive research and testing, Kimberly-Clark has developed nonwoven fabrics that are superior in:
- Comfort
- Breathability
- Design
- Protection

Kimberly-Clark maintains quality control from Fabric Development to Garment Design and Construction to Customer Service.

Kleenguard Coveralls and the micro-environment: Comfort Where It Counts

Within the micro-environment there are two factors that determine comfort:
1. Humidity in the space between the suit and the skin
2. The skin temperature

The body's primary cooling mechanism uses the evaporation of sweat to dissipate body heat.
A material capable of supporting this natural cooling cycle allows moisture to pass freely through to the exterior.
As moisture leaves, a lower humidity level is recorded in the micro-environment.

In controlled comfort studies utilizing simulated working conditions (moderate work rate at 300 Kcalories per hour for up to 90 minutes-equivalent to drilling or abatement work tasks) in warm and hot environments.
Kleenguard SELECT and Kleenguard Extra were shown to have low micro-humidity over the duration of the work period.

Lower micro-humidity means that more sweat is evaporated through the material and the worker remains cooler, longer.
A more comfortable worker can be more productive.

Kimberly-Clark Protective Apparel features our unique, patented REFLEX* Coverall Design which exceeds ANSI minimum standards.

Kimberly-Clark garments with the REFLEX* Coverall Design are larger and 7.5 times less likely to rip out vs.coveralls sewn to ANSI minimum sizing.

That means they provide longer wear, which results in a lower cost-in-use and increased worker productivity.
