Scotch 855 High Temperature Nylon Tape

A 2 mil nylon film with a non-silicone rubber adhesive to be used in composite bagging operations or to remove flashing after composite bonding.

The high temperature resistant non-silicone adhesive prevents silicone contamination, which might cause problems during following bonding or painting operations.

The tough nylon backing resists temperatures during the autoclave process and has adequate strength to break through cured adhesive flashing.

It is ideal for general purpose use in all bond shops.

Tape 855 is also suitable for securing release film, nylon bag sealing, holding and tabbing applications involved in the bagging of composite parts.

Tape 855 offers a thermally stable, tough, resilient, and relatively inexpensive film that will survive the autoclave environment under 200˘XC (392 ˘XF).

The clean removal in one piece of the tape yields a clean adhesive line between parts.
