Tape 854 is a polyester tape with a high temperature performing adhesive, designed especially for gold plating.
It is free of sulphur residues and, therefore, reduces the probability of the corrosion of precious metals.
It is an opaque, cream-coloured polyester tape with excellent chemical resistance in precious metal plating also in use for masking during anodizing and chemical milling.
Most suitable for chemical milling of special alloys (not caustic etching of aluminum) in caustic baths of mild concentrations.
