A conformable and abrasion resistant tape that is designed to mask various surfaces during electroplating and anodizing operations and is used in anodizing where conformability is required.

Tape 484 has a very food resistance against plating solutions, the adhesive is free of sulphur residue and is therefore particularly suitable for the masking of precious metals.

It is an electroplating tape with excellent resistance to plating solutions; it minimizes plating under cuttings, is easy to remove and features excellent stretch and conformability.

Most suitable for acid milling of titanium and for chemical milling on irregular surfaces.
