Tape 8663 DL is a double linered version of tape 8663. It provides a unique combination of toughness, durability, puncture resistance, and ease of application in helping prevent fluid penetration which could result in aircraft corrosion.

Tape 8663 DL has a double liner construction allowing easy application and is coated with a long ageing solvent resistant, pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive.

Application of tape 8663 DL over aircraft floor panels establishes a tough durable puncture resistant barrier that helps prevent liquids (water, soda pop, coffee, milk, urine, etc.) from penetrating flooring and becoming a possible soource of corrosion.

Tape 8663 DL is used as protection against fluid penetration on aircraaft entry areas, galleys, and lavatories to help reduce possible corrosion damaged caused by lquids spilled in these areas.

The second liner should be removed after the tape has been applied to the floor.
