Tape 8663 is made of exceptionally tough, abrasion resistant polyurethane formulated especially for its excellent reistance to ultraviolet light.

Tape 8663 may be applied over painted surfaces and shows little or no discolouration after prolonged periods of environmental exposure.

Tape 8663 comes coated with a long-ageing solvent resistant, pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive, protected with an easy release liner. This tape is used in military, commercial, business and private aviation as lead edge protection against particle and rain erosion.

Tape 8663 can easily br die-cut to exacting shapes and is paintable, pintable and thermoformable. Polyurethane Protective Tapes are a fast and exact way to provide exceptioanlly tough surface protection on metals and plastics.

Thay are made from highly durable thermoplastic elastomer and precoated with either a natural rubber or high performance acrylic adhesive.

They conform well to curvatures, can be precut into convenient shapes and even be apinted or printed over without priming.
