A PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) film and silicone adhesive to provide low friction and a release surface.

Another tape suitable for wire bundling is tape 5480, which provides excellent performance over a broad temperature range.

It also offers a very slick surface which minimizes friction and abrasion to wire bundles when coming in contact with adjacent parts.

The skived version of tape 5480 and 5481 offers a very conformable backing.

This elastic backing makes it suitable for areas where a degree of conformability such as spiral wrapping, may be required.
