| A 0.13 mm (5 mil) transparent polyester film with an acrylic adhesive. The tape has excellent tensile strength and abrasion resistance by virtue of its heavy duty backing. Tape 8412 is also used as a dissimilar metal separation against galvanic corrosion, in case a thicker polyester backing is needed. |
